HISTORY:

  • Established in January 2000.

  • Officers and members started the organization to discuss business concerns and promote Freedom businesses and residents.

DOING GOOD IN FREEDOM

  • Devise strategies that build upon local assets and focus resources and energy on supporting retention and expansion of existing businesses and creation of new businesses.

  • Sponsor and support local charities and activities and promote growth in the Town of Freedom, including: Scholarships, Adopt-A-Family, Family Night at the Movies, Alcohol and Drug Awareness, Freedom Fest, Bike Rodeo, Brochures/Directories, Santa Visit, Eagle Scout Sponsorship, etc.

  • Highlight business members in the Freedom Pursuit.

  • Encourage members and residents to "buy local" inspiring the community ditch the status quo and shift their spending to support the local business in their communities.

MEETINGS

  • Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month.

  • No meetings are held in the summer.

  • Meetings take place at the Buzz's Pub & Grill.
